All Seasons Cottage Breaks - Flint Cottage★★★★
"A comfortable, very well furnished cottage in a peaceful location."
Overview
Flint Cottage is a spacious, single-storey town cottage, ideal for a couple or two couples, or a family group holidaying together. Flint Cottage is delightfully charming, with a distinctive white picket fence surrounding the front garden and fragrant honeysuckle growing around the entrance porch. The log-burner in the living room makes it equally as popular in the winter or at Christmas. It’s located less than 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of historic Saxmundham, and a short drive to Aldeburgh and the Suffolk Coast. Flint Cottage has its own private courtyard at the back for guests to enjoy in warm weather, and the master bedroom can be arranged as either a king size double or as a twin room. With a modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, this cosy and comfortable cottage is perfect for a stay to explore the nearby heritage coast at any time of year. The cottage is also dog-friendly and welcomes small to medium-sized companion dogs.

About the area
Suffolk is Constable country, where the county’s crumbling, time-ravaged coastline spreads itself under wide skies to convey a wonderful sense of remoteness and solitude. Highly evocative and atmospheric, this is where rivers wind lazily to the sea and notorious 18th-century smugglers hid from the excise men
