Waterside is a truly distinctive property, offering the feeling of stepping inside an upside-down boat the moment you walk through the door. Its standout feature is the panoramic view from the second-floor balcony, where the open-plan living area looks out across the tranquil waters of the boatyard. This elevated perspective makes Waterside one of the most memorable places to stay on the Norfolk Broads. Guests can fish directly from the private deck below or take to the water on a day boat provided free of charge outside school holidays—a perfect way to explore the Broads at a relaxed pace. Canoes are also available to hire on site. Situated within a working boatyard, Waterside is just a five-minute walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants of Wroxham and Hoveton. Travel 20 minutes by car or train and you’ll reach the historic city of Norwich, while a 20-minute journey in the opposite direction brings you to the Norfolk Coast, where Waxham Beach and its popular seal colonies await. Part of the Boathouse building, Waterside sits alongside two other waterside holiday homes—Riverview and Rivers Edge. Two well-behaved pets are welcome (charges apply), and the property offers everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
