Lakes Aquarium is now home to creatures that live in and around freshwater lakes across the globe. See things that swim, fly and bite in beautifully-themed displays. Discover otters in the Asia area, piranhas in the Americas and marmosets in the rainforest displays, not forgetting all your favourite creatures that live a bit closer to home. This includes diving ducks and otters in spectacular underwater tunnels, and fresh water rays and pipefish in the Seashore Discover Zone. Don't miss the worlds first virtual dive bell. Over 10 talks daily including creature handling, otter feeds and rockpool discovery sessions. Special themed events take place throughout the year, please see website for details.
