Overview
From music and dance to comedy, theatrical performances and films, Diss’s Corn Hall is the place to head for an evening out. By day it hosts exhibitions featuring the work of local artists, runs workshops for learning new skills and manages the Diss Museum which is housed in a building called The Shambles in the Market Place (open mid-Mar–Nov Wed and Thu afternoons, all day Fri and Sat, and Sun afternoons).
Location
St Nicholas Street, DISS, IP22 4LB
About the area
The North Norfolk Coast is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and probably the finest of its kind in Europe. Here you’ll find a string of quaint villages and small towns – Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cley next the Sea are 21st-century favourites, while Sheringham and Cromer are classic examples of a good old-fashioned seaside resort where grand Victorian hotels look out to sea.
