Astley Cheetham Art GalleryQuality Assessed
"Interesting gallery close to the River Tame."
Overview
Astley Cheetham Art Gallery, above Stalybridge Library, was built as a gift to the town by John Frederick Cheetham and his wife Beatrice Astley in 1901. Displays of artworks from the Astley Cheetham Art Collection and exhibitions by local artists change throughout the year. The gallery is family friendly and free, and always has activities for children to help them explore the artworks.
