Overview
The Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is a historic and cultural landmark, housed in a Grade II listed building in Chamberlain Square. Since its original opening in 1885, it has amassed a collection of international importance, representing art, history, and the industrial heritage of the city. After renovation, it reopened in 2024, with spaces such as the Round Room Gallery, Industrial Gallery (featuring the new “Made in Birmingham” display), Bridge Gallery, Tearoom, and the Museum Shop reopening. In 2025, refurbished history galleries reopened under the exhibition “Birmingham: Its People, Its History,” .
