Settle onto the balcony at Greylag Goose and enjoy sweeping views across the marina, with the river just beyond, where boats and wildlife glide past all day long. Guests can head out on the water with a free day boat outside school summer holidays and Whitsun week, or hire a canoe right on site. Inside, the cottage has an upside-down, open-plan design that makes the most of the views. Downstairs, an enclosed courtyard with outdoor furniture and a BBQ gives you a sunny spot for relaxed meals at home. If you prefer to eat out, Wroxham’s pubs, shops and restaurants are only a 5–10 minute walk away. This is a brilliant base for exploring Norfolk, with the Broads quite literally on your doorstep, Norwich 12 miles in one direction and quiet sandy beaches 20 minutes the other. Greylag Goose sits beside two sister properties – Bewick Swan and Crested Grebe – making it ideal if you’re travelling with friends or family. 2 pets are welcome (fee + refundable deposit).
