Overview
Dating from 1722, Peckover House is an elegant Georgian brick townhouse with an outstanding two-acre walled town garden. Over 70 types of rose grow here, along with a number of notable specimen trees such as Maidenhair Tree and Tulip Tree. The Victorian glasshouses include a propagation house, and an orangery with 300-year-old trees that still bear fruit. Visitors can borrow a croquet set and play on the lawn. Lots of special events each year, ring for details.
